New Feature

Custom Booking Labels: Use Your Own Wording

We're excited to announce custom booking labels for the new booking flow. Now you can replace the generic "Service" and "Specialist" wording with your own terminology, so the booking page speaks your business's language.

What's New

Two new settings let you customize how services and team members are presented to customers:

  • Service Label — Change "Select a Service" to match your wording, like "Select a Class"
  • Specialist Label — Change "Choose a Specialist" and "Any Specialist" to your wording, like "Choose a Coach" and "Any Coach"

Plus, each team member's title now appears under their name on the booking page instead of the generic "Specialist" label.

Where You'll See It

The custom labels replace the default wording throughout the booking flow:

  • Step 1 — The service selection heading becomes "Select a [Your Label]"
  • Step 2 — The specialist heading becomes "Choose a [Your Label]" and the "Any Specialist" option becomes "Any [Your Label]"
  • Member cards — Each team member shows their individual title (e.g. "Senior Barber", "Stylist") under their name
  • Booking summary — The small section labels in the details and payment steps use your custom wording

How to Set It Up

Booking Labels

1. Go to Settings > My Company 2. Find the Booking Labels section 3. Enter your Service Label (e.g. "Class") and Specialist Label (e.g. "Coach") 4. Click Save Changes

Leave a field empty to keep the default translated wording.

Team Member Titles

1. Go to Team in your admin panel 2. Edit a team member 3. Enter a Title (e.g. "Senior Barber", "Stylist", "Trainer") 4. Save the member

Smart Grammar for English

We automatically handle English articles: enter "Class" and customers see "Select a Class", but enter "Hour" and they see "Select an Hour". In all other languages the headings use natural, article-free phrasing, so they read correctly no matter the label.

Two Things to Know

  • Labels are not translated. Your custom labels appear exactly as you enter them in every language your customers book in. The default wording, on the other hand, is fully translated.
  • Available on Business plans. The new booking flow (where these labels appear) is a Business plan feature.

What Problem This Solves

Every business speaks its own language. A fitness studio sells "classes" and "coaches", a beauty salon books "treatments" with "technicians", and a barbershop schedules "cuts" with "barbers". Before, your customers saw generic "Service" and "Specialist" wording that didn't match how you describe your work. Now the booking page matches your brand — which makes it feel like your own site and helps more customers complete a booking with confidence.

Getting Started

Custom labels are available today for all Business plan users. Set them up in Settings > My Company and add titles to your team members in Team. Try it on your booking page and make the booking experience truly yours.
