One of the most requested features is here. You can now accept multiple bookings for the same time slot — perfect for businesses that run classes, workshops, group sessions, or any service where several customers share an appointment.
Why We Built This
This has been a long time coming. Businesses offering group services told us over and over:
"I run fitness classes and need 10 people to book the same hour. I was creating fake services or tracking attendance in a spreadsheet."
"My spa offers workshops for up to 8 people. Without multiple bookings I had to turn customers away."
"I teach small cooking sessions. I need people to book the same slot independently."
We listened. Multiple bookings per slot is now available on the Business plan.
How It Works
When creating or editing a service, enable Multiple bookings per slot and set the maximum capacity — anywhere from 2 to 999 participants.
- Independent bookings — Each customer books their own spot, no waiting for a group to fill
- Automatic capacity tracking — The system knows how many seats are left and stops accepting bookings when the slot is full
- Same booking flow — Your customers see available time slots with remaining seats ("1 spot left", "8 spots left") and book as normal
- Any specialist supported — Available across the "any specialist" flow, so customers don't need to pick a specific staff member for a class
Calendar Grouping
When several customers book the same class, the admin calendar groups them into a single event block with a ×3 badge showing the participant count.
- Desktop: Hover over a grouped event to see all participants and their booking status
- Mobile/Desktop tap: Click the grouped event to open a participant picker — tap any name to open that customer's booking details and edit modal
Single bookings (even on multi-booking services) display normally, so a class with just one sign-up looks like any other appointment.
Payment Protection
If you charge for bookings, each participant pays separately and gets their own payment confirmation. To prevent abandoned bookings from holding seats indefinitely, unpaid bookings are automatically cancelled after 10 minutes — freeing the spot for the next customer. A countdown timer on the payment page shows customers exactly how much time they have left.
Getting Started
Multiple bookings per slot is available now for all Business plan users:
1. Go to Services and create or edit a service 2. Toggle Multiple bookings per slot and set the max capacity 3. That's it — your customers can now book the same time slot independently
If you're on the Independent plan, you'll see a prompt to upgrade when you reach the multiple bookings option. Upgrade to Business to unlock classes, workshops, and all group-booking features.
